i'm down for the baymont, i as well have insurance on my car. although i do NOT park it outside. i take up a whole two car garage. lol. but that not something i'm worried about. We should just figure out how to get room neer each other so that we don't have to hike around.

Tyson, I was never really excited about being at Tradewinds, especially by myself. But, now that I have a roomie at Baymont, things are all good. Woo hoo!!!!

That works out well; now Pasha, would you be willing to go Baymont with the opportunity to split the room or are you still pro-Tradewinds? I still need to square away my accommodations (rooming with Dave) and we should get that taken care of this week/ASAP.

OK so heres the plan. I'm going to call this evening, and make a reservation. I'm going to try to get ground floor (unless theres a prob with that?) and then i'll get back on here and post my room number so you guys can make reservations accordingly and request rooms as close to my room as possible. Sound good?

Good idea. Maybe let them know ahead that there will be a bunch of us so that they give you a room with a bunch of open rooms around it. Tell them were with the Legend forum - everyone can say the same thing so they'll have an easier time putting us all together. Wonder how many room are getting reserved all together at the Baymont...? I'm guessing at least 5 for sure.

I made my reservation for May 26th, May 27th, and checkout on May 28th. I asked about the AAA membership discount, and it knocked it down to $53.10 per night +tax/fees of course. The room I got was a non-smoking, 2 full size bed, 2 adults room. I made sure she put a note on there that i was part of the 'acura legend' group. Make sure you tell him/her that you are part of this group. I requested that our rooms be placed as close to one another as possible. They do not assign rooms until check-in. So I couldn't get her to place me in a predetermined room. Oh well i tried...

Pasha -- It will end up being $53.10 + tax/fees each. Thats not a bad deal for the whole weekend edit: i just got your PM and according to the site, it will be $60.32 each after tax for the weekend. Thanks for the info.

Everyone else -- Make sure to post on here when your reservations are set and if everything went smoothly. I'd like to get an idea of how many of us will be at the Baymont. Make sure you let people know if you know someone else thats planning on staying at the Baymont to make reservations then post in here. Thanks

On a side note: Free high speed internet in every room! YAY! But bring an ethernet cable along with you. I'm not getting my hopes up on it being wireless. I'll have my laptop if you want to use it Pasha. I'll be saving off all my photos and also probably keeping up on a 'NLARLM progress' thread if i feel motivated enough :thumbsup:

edit: sweet free internet! i'll be saving my pic/videos to my laptop as well. becuase my 2gb mem stick will fill quick! it can only store 170pics or 1hr of video

still tell them when you call them up that you're part of the acura legend group though, just so its on your reservation, just in case. But yea basically, when we all show up there, we'll be making sure to get rooms together.

Pasha, I have to leave sunday morning at like 1-2 AM. I'm still going to pay my full half i just wanted to let you know. i have to be at a medical meeting at 6:30 AM on sunday morning. What all is going on sunday btw? Will i miss too much? Oh and also i cannot drink that weekend. I will be getting a blood draw first thing sunday morning and i can't have any alcohol showing up in my blood. Not much of a loss to me though

Other Forums to notify??

Hey guys, are there any other Acura/Legend forums where we should notify members about the NLARLM to have the largest turnout in history? This is pretty much the only forum I visit. Anybody else go to other pertinent forums where they could make the NLARLM announcement? It would be cool for this year to have the record number of cars. What is the current record?

What is the current record?

At the San Francisco meet in February, 2004, we had 28 cars there. I'm pretty sure that's been unsurpassed. It would be indeed be quite the feat if we could pull off more than that. We could post at Acuraworld, and Legend.org. Other than that, I can't think of any other place that would be interested.
