I just bought my wife a 2006 RL, my question is can you play a DVD movie through the nav. system? My wife did all the homework on the car and I can't find anything about this. Thanks for the help

This site has them for the '05s. I wouldn't think much if anything changed for '06, but you would wanna check with them first.

isn't it dvd audio? well, i have the 2005 and the salesman told me that i can't even burn mp3 to dvd-r...i can only play cd's that have the logo "dvd" on them. that sucks.

you can still play them on a cd-r though. i would assume, depending on the bitrate of the mp3's you are looking to burn, that doing so in dvd-r format wouldn't even really be worth it. if we're talking lossless quality or 300+kbps, that might be different. i'm not much of an expert in this area though...
