The previous idiot owner put some 205/65/16 Continental Touring tires on lol. My question is, is it possible that those HUGE tires can over work an engine @ high speeds? When I take my car to 90mph the engine sounds harsh, like it's putting alot of work into it. It's kind of loud and need to know if tires can ruin my engine befoe it's too late......

P.S. Gotta luv Legends.............:D

I doubt it. The final drive ratio is different than stock now. So, acceleration is probably slower, but you'll probably get better freeway mileage. You're speedometer is probably showing a slower speed than actual speed, too.

By putting 205 65 16 tires on a Legend, you are increasing the diamter of your tire significantly.

By doing 90mph, you are around 100mph. Somewhere around there.
