I think 245 is really pushin it with a 40 series, and probably definitely with a 50 series...this may be a matter of offset....if its less than +45, you may have it sticking out...225's are right at the threshhold with +40 offset on 225's and 18 x 7...I'd suggest getting that info and/or putting them on and riding for 2 days to check for spacing problems
Those are way to big, if you wanted to go with a 245 width you'd probably have to run a 35 series sidewall just to keep a decent outside diameter. Even then you still might rub if you don't have a really high offset (+50). I agree with cody690, get them, sell the tires and get some that are the right size.
yea, thats wat i think ima do, pick up some like 225 / 40's but ****, 18 inch chrome wheels and tires for $800, cant let that go.. thanks for the input, ima still put em on and see how it is the day i get em ;]
If you plan on lowering the car stick with 225/40-18. I have GC/Koni and I'm loooowwwww. I barely have enough room, but it doesn't rub. I considered the 235/40-18 and I'm glad I didn't, becasue it would mo def rub. 225/40 is perfect. Oh my offset is +45 and anything less than +43 would be a problem.
is the wheelmax good with prices??
I was looking for a racighart Evo S15 and they have it at wheelmax and they are asking $1499-(225/40/18)or (215/35/18)
then $1550 -(235/40/18) and $1599 -(245/40/18) and these prices are with the wheels...... they are saying that each wheel will cost about $280 for the 18" .. so what you think guys???
will S15 18x7.5 fit acura legend 93 sedan?? and i should take the 225/40/18 rite.... tanxxx
