Sounds about right. Remember, you're buying pads too.

I got mine from Wood for $240 + tax, and then another $150 + tax for pads. Total came up to over $420.
sounds right to me too. i just paid $440 with rotors, pads, and brake lines, shipped to pa.
I only got the brembo rotor set from Mr. Wood for around $230+shipping. So NO pads. Each rotor is still a steal compared to OEM stock prices.
$347 total w/ shipping and pads.

Enjoy it while you can. :)
I paid $312 shipped for rotors and pads from Wood. But I got the TypeI rotors, so cheaper and it was a year and half ago. That price sounds right.
Hey Thai, the price seems to be right, and like everyone said your also buying the pads and remember that those rotors are heavy as shiznit. Your not getting jerked buddy.
Oh.. PS. I didn't get my pads from Wood; in case anyone was wondering. :)

so did you get them from "Elvis"? or from some other source?
just wondering, because the ones i got from elvis rusted very quickly, and just the other day one of my rear rotors cracked. i swapped one of my old rotors back (good thing i kept em!) and am trying to see if i can buy one more. i am not really sure why it cracked though!
whoops, sorry. i wasnt paying attention! you said pads...
Hmm.. Interesting that they cracked. I think that you may be the first to have this problem. It's been talked about before, but I don't remember it actually happening to anyone here yet.

I got my first set of rotors from Elvis, but those warped due to the body shop's negligence (bad torquing), but my current set if from Wood.

The reason why Elvis' set rusts is that his rotors are not plated, while Wood's are. Both sets will rust on the contact surfaces because the plating wears off even on the ones Wood sells, but the non-contact surfaces won't rust as easily on the plated ones.

My pads are EBCs which neither Wood nor Elvis carry.

The rotors I from Elvis last year sometime were silver CAD plated.

Yeah, he actually stopped plating them after a while. My first set of rotors were from him, and they weren't plated (this was late last year). I asked him why he no longer plated them, and he said that he had problems with the company that plated his rotors, and decided to stop plating them altogether.
are those prices for 2 rotors?

The prices quoted above are for all 4 rotors.
thats a good price...I paid something over $500 for mine a few years back:
Rotors - Front - $98/ea
Rotors - Rear - $89/ea
Pads - AEM Front - $ 76/pr
Pads - AEM Rear - $ 65/pr

This totals over $515 plus tax....I had bought my eibachs at the same time, so right around $800. $350 is a steal

Same total shipped to CANADA and he was cool enough to put a lower price on the bill so I didn't have to pay mad taxes. I installed them about 4 weeks ago and I LOVE EVERYTHING.
Good Luck
Eye Candy,

who did you buy from?? how long ago??

Thanks,
Dave
Octane - I bought them from Mr. Wood over at raceconcept about 1-1/2 years ago for $440USDshipped + taxes/duties. I bought them because it was a group buy, had new raybests rotors and pads so that is why I installed them last month(old stuff was still lke new, but couldn't wait any longer).
Local shops want $900- $1200CAD just for the rotors(x-drilled & slotted no cad plating) and installation.
$440 - included CAD Plated Rotors, PBR PADS and Stainless Steel Brake Lines and shipping USPS (took about 4 weeks, because shipping alone was about $60.00USD) and taxes/duties based on $75USD (he was real cool about putting a lower value on the invoice so you pay about $30 in taxes)
Great guy to deal with, Wait until the meet and you can check everything out.
Good Luck
