i was wondering today, since it was a cooler out today what my car would run the 50-70 in

so i hop on the highway and while going down a hill i hit in in 4 flat

then on level ground i hit in in 4.74 seconds

what times are you guys getting?

i can pull 40-70 in about 5 secs

Depends on a bunch of things such as:
Auto or Manual
Type I or Type II Engine
Wheel size
New or old ignition coils
Good or bad tranny mount ( bad one actually get better time for some reason)
If auto, are you manually shifting it or not?

not maunally shifting it
coils are not new as far as i know
plugs are looking good though

Also looks like you have some aftermarket wheels slowing your acceleration time down!

well those are acually only like 16 pounds per wheel, ive compared the weight of the factory and my 17s and my 17s are quite a bit lighter

It's not how light they are that affects the ecceleration. It is how far the the rim of the metal wheel is from the center of the hub. An average tire only weighs 5 lbs. You have more rolling weight further to the outside of the diameter of the wheel! That will slow eccel down.

Um, are you guys talking about top gear acceleration, or 3rd, or high 2nd-3rd or what? If you are talking about 50-70mph in 4th gear, then i doubt 4-5 seconds, since that would mean we are about 2 seconds faster than an M5, and 1.2 seconds faster than a Dinan M5.
