light shuddering while idle, high idle, temp gauge going up/down, electical lights turning on/off, leaks in the trunk, brakes, smoothness of shifts into 2nd
what does it mean if there isn't a perfectly smooth shift from 1st to 2nd if you have the tpe 2 engine?NotoriousL12 said:light shuddering while idle, high idle, temp gauge going up/down, electical lights turning on/off, leaks in the trunk, brakes, smoothness of shifts into 2nd
Str8 up. Then you'd have an honest-to-God Legend, plus the undying thanks of everybody on this Forum.Leon Millette said:Buy Jasmyn for 5100. She is in the classifieds.
that tb/wp price is if you go to places where labor is $80+/hr......i'm getting mine done (w/genuine Honda tb/wp) with parts/labor/tax for $585...just don't go to goodyear, gas stations, or the stealership.......now about the high maint. part, I can't agree morejno2968326 said:wp/tb cost around $1200 and everthing on the legends cost quite a bit more than you are prolly used to paying.i love them and have owned many for more than 15 years but they are high maintaince cars.

Okay, lets see. The interior and exterior of this car were literally perfect. That is all I can say. I had a friend of mine come along who has been selling cars for three years and he completly agreed.
It idles perfect, has plenty of power, it doesn't look like it's 12 years old.
But (always a but), the transmission felt a little rough going from 1st to 2nd while cornering. Like making a turn from a stop. It downshifted and upshifted quickly and efficiently. Just felt a hiccup when starting and turning.
Any simple solution?
Does anyone have a CarFax and wouldn't mind running it?
Legends are one of the most reliably "sport" performance sedan (whatever you wanna call it) cars out there especially given the time period. These cars simply don't break. Yeah, there is alot of complaining on these forums, but the reliability of this car is much better than any other luxury car from the time.Noya said:Chimuyo1, your not serious are you? Piston rings? Your talk about stripping the block! thousands of dollars for those repairs or as you say preventative maintenance.
These cars seem as troublesome as DSMs and I don't want to join, or should I say...have my mother join a camp like that as that is who this car would be for.
