What do I need to do?
Do they sell special like things to let the speaker fit in the same hole?

Basically, I have a pair of 6.5S speakers that I want to go in the rear deck of my 93 Legend coupe 6speed LS... but the rear deck calls for 6x9.

I dont want 6x9.
I want the speakers I already have.
And I'll put my tweeters where the stock tweeter positions are in the car, already. It'll fit perfectly.

Any ideas?
Is this like a kit I can get from crutchfield?

jose - chrisk can help you the best on this one - he has diamond audio 6.5's in his rear deck. if i remember correctly, i think he made a template out wood (mdf?) or something that covered the 6x9 opening and mounted to the stock holes. he then cut a circle in that to mount the 6.5. like i said, tho, check with him. good luck,

thats what we do at our shop. if you take the 6x9 adapter out, the hole left in the rear deck is big enough to fit a 6.5 speaker. you can use 1/2 inch mdf and cut a hole in it. then bolt the mdf using the same bolts off the adapter and u'r done.
