NO LONGER A FEELER THREAD....

Cleared-Out Tails are NOW FOR SALE!!

Available for 86-88 Sedans

Price: $150 with a $25 core ($150 INCLUDES shipping to and fro!)

Process: I will send you the cleared tails, you install them, and ship me back you old ones (again, I will pay for the shipping back to me...all you need to do is box 'em and ship em out!). If you wish to KEEP your old tails as backups, thats fine too, but the price will still be a straight $150. Also, the core charge can ONLY apply to tails that are in good functioning condition and cosmetic condition with no cracks, breaks, or major leaks...unfortunately, tails that do not meet this criteria are not eligible for the core :(

Here's the pics:

^^^ I'm in the same boat with Brent :grumble: ...Gabe, is there anything you can do to accommodate us later G1 owners?!?

hells ya i want to buy it. it'll match up the one on the middle of the trunk of my car. and i guess if u sent those clear corners, i need to send mines to u right?

Wait...are you saying you cleared out your center Lens?? Pics? How??

Anyhow, yes, the $25 core would be contingent on the buyer returning me their good condition rears as an exchange. Buyer receives their new tails, sends me back their old pair, and I send them back the $25....although I haven't figured out how I would do shipping costs, etc. just yet....but hey its just a feeler :D

But I figure that $25 isn't too bad and if you really wanted to keep your originals....but hey $25 is $25 right? AND you'd be contributing to the community so that I could make more tails for future Legends

i took it off to see if i could take that white piece out. so i can't and maybe im gonna take one off at a junkyard and see whats the easiest way to remove the front lens w/o cracking it. oh ya one more thing, im also thinking of making the word LEGEND light up. :yumyum: that'll be sweet!!!

Its posibble to make one. I know the 89 & 90 have smaller tail lights. What you think Gabe?

they appear to be one large plastic piece (amber and red) rather than the two separate pieces
 once again, Gabe is dead on

Damn that really sucks. I guess they have to be straight custom.

For the 89-90 Sedans....I have seen the amber part painted red to match the brakes....most recently Beeze....it looked pretty good if you ask me!! :D He used a red vinyl overlay type thing...

Anyhow...now you guys have got me curious lol..Im going to look into this 89-90 thing to see how hard "custom" would actually be

To me, I guess he's gonna have to cut off the amber area and replace with some clear plastic. Are you up for it Gabe? This is gonna be the biggest challenge for a 89-90 sedan tail lights. I got faith in ya homie.
