'90 coupe owners: need your assistance

If you have a digital camera, could you please email me or post a picture of the underside of the hood where your front grille attatches (the black reinforcement). The closer up the better, I am having trouble fitting the 90 grille to my 89 hood.

90ls rare color

I have a 90 ls blue like the one in your pictures of old legend-

Just going thru a complete overhaul -Transmission replacement -suspension -Cv's -Clutch and A/C -

It is for sale -

Colin- I just got back from Las Vegas, and my 90 Coupe is still in storage at a relative's house. I'll have it back here by tomorrow, and the pics for you asap.

Thanks Vince. For now I have the grille attatched where the 89 one is attatched (in front of radiator), but I really would like to have it on the hood.

OK here goes. The pics will be slow, because my server is on an ADSL line. Let me know if they don't work though, I'll email them to you.

I've circled in orange where the grille is bolted to the hood. I'm not 100% positive about the two outer ones though, as I took these pictures about 8 hours ago, and I've had a lot on my mind since then. I can check tomorrow to be absolutely sure.

Close up of the right side. Here, you can see the white mounting clips where the grille attaches to the mounting brackets. If you look in this picture, you can see the outer bolt. It looks like I was a little off with the circles in the previous picture. Sorry.

Colin actually used to have one like that. It's my dream first gen coupe: 1990 LS 5 Speed, and Melbourne blue to boot. Too bad you're too far from me, and I just bought an 89 5 speed last month.

Thanks for posting those pics vince, as I'd feared, the 1990 hood is different than the 89. Oh well, I guess i'll have to do more jerry rigging with that darn thing.
