Are you using those colored fake HID bulbs?

If you wanted 9005 bulbs in your low beam, get bulbs that are 80 watts or less, I believe the Silverstars are 75w. so that should work. I was thinking of doing this but why risk frying a harness when they make 9006 Silverstars?

IMO, you shouldn't need to go past 5000K, from my research, 4500K is where white light is achieved, as you go higher, the light gets closer to purple.
