91 Acura Legend Blower motor speed?

Ok I have searched for over an hour. Had to replace my blower motor, old one had been chirping for awhile and slowing down and finally went out completely. So I dont really remember how strong it was when it was working good. Installed a new one and seems to work fine, as you turn the fan control speed up the fan and air output increases and when you turn it down it decreases fan speed and out put. It just not seem to put out what I would call a full blast when on high. I did not install a OEM fan but installed a new one from a good source. Have tried with and without the cabin filter and not really any apprecable difference. Any ideas?
