Gents... Just picked up my second Legend, a 92 LL with -- are you ready -- 26,000 miles. Car has obviously been garaged its entire life (Paint is perfect... even pin striping is flawless, as is entire leather interior). Runs and rides better than my 88 L G1 ever did. Seems a couple in their 70's traded in on a new 3.2TL Type S! Did I mention that new Toyo tires were put on by previous owner last week...? I Gave $11K + tax/license... Somebody tell me I did good... JJ

Post some pics of it.

Just a simple question. with a car that old, do the belts start to dry out and crack? Is that something he should be worried about even though it has such low miles on it?

damn thats rare

If u really like legends-yes its a good deal. The belts shouldn't be too much of a problem if they regularly drove it, but I would do it at 60k just to be on safe side. If they were in their 60s when they bought it, I wonder how many times could it have been up to 6500 rpm.

ahaha, good good:D Just be gentle with it at first, they might have never reved it beyond 3K, lol~ Flush all fluids, treat it as if you are breaking it in, flush tranny and engine fluids, then have fun:D

Thanks Gents! Appreciate your feedback and suggestions. Must admit to having found something wrong with the car... the air filter was dirty!

Just goes to show... The "little old lady who only drove it to church" really does exist!

Regards,

I hear suggestions of :

90k miles or 10 yrs for doing timing belt.

So I know it might hurt, but I'd suggest doing the timing belt soon.
