how did you do that i have a general idea but how?

first i change the mode of the picture to grayscale to get rid of all the color. then change mode back to rgb so that you can add color to black and white picture. go to color adjustment and play around with that and also play around with the brightness/contrast. and then i added a gradient (black to transparent) on the top.

oh that ones even easier! all i did was a gradient from orange to transparent from the top of the pic into the middle, and then i messed around with the brightness/contrast settings and color settings.
