So... I've been a member here for a few months now, but never introduced myself to the forum.

I'm Tyler and i own a white (I'm not sure what specific shade of white) 94 Coupe 6 speed. I reside in mid-town Houston, TX. Currently a sophmore going into my junior year in high school.

the rust was there when i got it and the other marks are from when i got too close to my garage wall when pulling in and sideswiped it.

i do have HID's as you can see the ballasts but a bulb burnt and i ordered a new set, so the halogens are in right now.

Welcome to the forum and glad you found this site, there are a lot of useful info so stick around. Not a bad looking coupe and all it really needs some more TLC though and you'll be good.

He's already got HID, but 1 bulb was being bad and ordering a replacement.

thanks for answering that for me, ptan. yeah, i needed to know about my
legend so i went and searched for a forum. hmm.. still trying to figure out what TLC would stand for. can someone help? btw, what part of
houston are you in? im always looking out for other legends and members. :D
Love the white coupe! That car needs real leather seats IMO. I did vinyl in my black coupe and am only using real leather in my red one.

Spoiler stays, wheels are ok, but I'd prefer gs rims. They made my black coupe look good.

Wash that ebay ASAP ahhh time to act like a pro :)
how different does the vinyl look from the real leather? and i havent tried the
gs rims, but ive seen this coupe, in really good condition with gs rims. i dont
really like the looks of them, but i would like to try them on sometime to see
how i'd like it
Nice coupe, needs alot of interior work and a clean engine bay and it would look sexy! I like the 6 speed alot!
thanks you guys, yeah the 6 speed part is one thing i like most about it for
some reason. and am i supposed to wash the engine bay by hand? or a
pressure washer? or... how? :dunno:

nice man, is that your first car?

I cant even imagine how much trouble I'd have gotten into with a manual 6-speed as my first car! :) any tickets yet?

hey where's the link for making the turn signals stay on like that? I know I've read it before but never did it.

thanks, and yeah it is. it wasnt that hard to get used to standard, you cant
really learn by watching someone but i did. i used to watch my dad every time
on the way to work when i was a lil kid, plus im Asian :) get it?? lmao! and
i just turned the hazards on and snapped a pic when they would come on :D
oh and i got a parking ticket, its nothing really but i dont understand why i
got it and no one else did. people always park in that same spot for church on sundays.
it says no parking anytime though. and i parked there this past saturday morning cause
i was in a rush and didnt see the sign, note: there was a huge bush covering it too. :wtf:
i was the only car parked on that side of the street though. i went a took
a pic on sunday, about 3 cars were parked where i parked. gonna take this
bitch to court! lmfao
Start off with engine degreaser, then let it sit there for awhile after 10 mins of waiting then use a brush and start to work on those intake manifold then work your way around and down (GL with all the tight space in your engine bay), then spray off with water hose, then you can start on doing the soap and repeat the step.

BTW here is the youtube video show how you can clean your engine.

I hope that help you out, make sure check his video out for more "how to detail clean your car". NOTICE: Don't run your car while spray your engine like him because you will CRACK that Ignition coil due to the engine heat and cold water. And make sure to take some pics after the wash.
thanks for the info and vid. ill try to do it sometime this week and post up
pics for you guys.
Where can I get a dual cup holder like yours that goes between the seat??

Does anyone know where I can get a dual cup holder like that?

Thanks.
hmmm.. it was in the car when i got it. its just a wedged base looking thing
that holds itself in between the seat and center console. idk, ill try to look for
it online or something.

Nightshift, i think it was you that i saw that one day. it was in the morning on my way to school (this was before i got my license so i wasnt driving my car at this time) by W Alabama and Shepherd I saw a coupe that looked exactly like the pics in your thread about repainting the coupe. sometime around.. hmm... feb-march of this year

Might have been, the coupe came back briefly March 6th; then was flooded April 28.
I put just over 100 miles on it in 7 weeks.
Should be back soon!

Legends only come out on nice days. Avalanche is the driver lately.
Looking at a Desert Mist 'L' automatic that needs an engine (BHG).
Tyson (4Cruizn) will be proud...
I do like having a Legend daily driver, the 6-speeds are too pristine to take out around here.

engine cleaning>>>spray degreaser>do not spray the alt.,or anything else electrical directly ,hose off degreaser, dry off with a towel, then start engine and let it warm up then mist armeroll over entire engine..close the hood and let it melt, then open hood and remist and close the hood let it dry before shutting off>>>>>legends need T L C and they will drive for a very long time>>my service advisor told me 500,000 mi and im at 200,000 still climbing
