Yeah, I have a 94 also and I was going to "restore" the factory deal, but really its not worth it - just an annoying alarm when the door is opened. Just go aftermarket, maybe they can use the blinking light on the driver door instead of punching a new whole in the dash.

Yes, you can use the light on the drivers door. That's the way my mom's old 94 sedan was setup when she had it.
