96 RL... Rotate crank and camshaft with belt off?

I'm no mechanic, only a decent part changer, but there is no way I can pay anybody to fix my car. It would just have to sit here and rot. So I am making a grand attempt to change the water pump and timing belt.

AFTER following the instructions for adjusting the pulleys to TDC, I read that I should NOT rotate the pulleys with the timing belt removed. Whelp, too late now. What damage have I done?
