97 calipers are indeed different (in that the piston sizes are smaller than 91-96). And, it is also true that the pistons on the 91-96 NSX calipers are smaller the Legend Type II calipers. However, the NSX calipers are lighter and supposedly provides smoother air flow.kotetu said:Why go to NSX calipers? I am not sure if '97+ are different than 91-96, but the old ones have less piston area than the Legend dual piston calipers.
no i got some 97 nsx brackets, but i compaired the two brackets and they looked the same.Gride_Cruiser said:Hey legendls94 did you use type I caliper mounting brackets? Thus using Type I rotors? The set up looks very clean!

why not go to the nsx caliper? they look so sexy!kotetu said:Why go to NSX calipers? I am not sure if '97+ are different than 91-96, but the old ones have less piston area than the Legend dual piston calipers.
Umm, the Type I rotors are the same diameter as the GS. The GS rotors are 5mm thicker.well i just finished my nsx calipers swap. if you are going to use the 97 calipers you need to use the L rotors. the GS rotors are 11.0 inches and the L rotors are 11.1... as far as brackets... you can you the legend bracket.
here is a picture of the nsx caliper with legend L rotors.

No, not even close.f I convert to NSX calipers...will NSX rotors work as well? I have a set of new drilled and slotted rotors that I'd like to use on the Legend.
