Do you have the 97 caliper and caliper mounting brackets? If you do have the mounting brackets, they were made for bigger rotors (in terms of diameter). Most of the members who have done this sort of conversion on this board utilized 91 NSX or 92 NSX calipers, which is a direct bolt on with Type II rotors. So I would imagine for a 97 caliper, you would need a larger rotor. The ironic thing is that the pistons sizes for a 97 are actually smaller than the 91's with the smaller rotors.

Hey legendls94 did you use type I caliper mounting brackets? Thus using Type I rotors? The set up looks very clean!

Why go to NSX calipers? I am not sure if '97+ are different than 91-96, but the old ones have less piston area than the Legend dual piston calipers.
97 calipers are indeed different (in that the piston sizes are smaller than 91-96). And, it is also true that the pistons on the 91-96 NSX calipers are smaller the Legend Type II calipers. However, the NSX calipers are lighter and supposedly provides smoother air flow.
