I just recently put one can of freon into the lines. It will only take half the can, and the compressor is making a little noise. I have open the High pressure valvle and notice hot are is coming out. My conclusion is that evaporator is not getting anything. DO someone think that it could be a EXPANSION valve being damaged, leaving it lock for pressure not to get in the evap. I need Help

what year leg do you have... if its a first gen... you have a/c with R12... which means... you shouldnt have put in R134A... unless ya changed over the evap coil and what not.... you probably messed up the compressor and the evap coil... beacuse r134a expands more and quicker than r12....
