NO, just the top one. THat is the low pressure side. You hook a can up to the other one and it will explode. That is the high pressure side. The connector is there for catching freon out of it.

 

you can put freon in thru either line, just depends what kind of equipment you are using.

AND PLEASE DON"T TELL ME YOUR ARE PUTTING IS THAT CRAP THEY SELL AT THE AUTOPARTS STORE!!!!!! THATS DEATH FOR YOUR A/C SYSTEM! DO NOT USE THE STUFF THEY SELL THAT THE AUTO PARTS STORE. ONLY USE PURE R134a AND NOTHING ELSE.

what he means i think, is dont use the ones with all this cleaner/lube/uv etc etc "extra" stuff they put with the r134a... your a/c wont be as cold as it use to.

 

no, i mean don't use the shit they sell at the auto parts store, that they claim is good to use to refil your system with, like those "do it yourself" crap, b/c its not r134a, and will ruin your a/c system. also don't use any leak crap, only thing that belongs in your a/c system is pure r134a nothing else.
