Ok Ok, you can stop sending me PMs and hinting towards it in posts. Here are pics with the Koni/Eibach setup on my coupe. Koni's are top perch in the front and middle in the rear. I have no clue how long it takes to settle, so maybe it'll get lower. I don't know. The day it was done my dad was curious and he started measuring things between our Legends and it was 1 inch lower at that point. I didn't want it slammed or anything, just a slightly lower look, and that's what I got. You'll get better pics in the future, but these will have to do for now. :D

It wouldn't hurt to go a little lower. It depends on what it looks like when it settles. LOOKS GOOD THOUGH!! Those are only 17's right?
Thanks-yes they are 17s. Yeah, I know it would look good lower, but I don't want to lose any driveability. I drive this car every day over lots of different things.

Your car is a 91 so im guessing you got it repainted Persian Red Pearl. My question is how did you get it to shine so good. Did you get 2 or 3 coats of clearcoat, a good wax? Whats our secret?
???

Persian Red is a 91-92 color.

I polish/detail a lot. Products from poorboysworld.com along with my Porter Cable 7424.

The only thing repainted on his car is the '95 front bumper and body molding if I remember correctly. Everything else is original. Right Pat?
Front bumper. Sideskirts. Side molding. Everything else is original. :2cool:

91lsman what kind of fog lights do you have?
PIAA 004x with Ion Yellow bulbs. ;)

Yeah, OhGeez, that was one of my first thoughts as well.

Thanks everyone!!! I appreciate all the compliments!!! Today I drove dad to pick up the Vette after header install/dyno/etc. He was worried that when my Legend was lowered it would be a much bumpier ride. 1/2 way there I just calmy said "Pretty Smooth ride eh?" Then he said "Holy **** I almost forgot-now I'm paying attention-that is pretty smooth-WOW" :2cool:

Thanks again everyone!!!!

everyone on the forum knows that he wax/polish his car everyday, three times a day.
1 in the morning before goin to work
1 during his break at work
and 1 before parking it in the garage, and calls it a day.
:giggle: :giggle:

I don't wax 3 times a day. Although if time permitted.... ;)

Don't drop it anymore. People don't seem to get that the Legend has wide wheel wells and when you drop too much you lose the symmetry of the top gap with side gap, making the car look stupid.

Drop looks good!
Thanks-it's not going any lower. I love how it looks right now.

 Now you're just about done. Very nice!

How do you have your front plate mounted. I cant find a license plate holder and wanna do the same. Pics would help too.
It'll never be done. They'll always be little things to do. :D

My front plate is mounted with two "L" shaped brackets, with the OEM bolts going into the OEM holes in the bumper. I got the idea from a thread posted by Chrisk a long time ago. He posted pictures of the bracket he used. He used one long thing bracket behind the plate, I just did it a bit differently and used two L shaped brackets. I made the measurements and my dad had one of his guys bend the metal at work. (Although they work with wood, I think they just pounded it while the metal was in a vice. LOL) It's basically the same concept as the "flip" method where you flip the OEM holder and use a few washers, but with this method I was able to "tuck" the plate further underneath the bumper for a sleeker look.

Thanks!!

Pat,

Looks great as always.

Any chance you can get a direct side shot of the car not on a driveway in daylight? I wanna get a feel for the drop on flat ground and in daylight to see if this is the set-up I wanna go with.

Also, do you mind driving to NY so I can feel how it handles potholes? Thanks.

-Eric
Thanks. I'll get some daylight pics soon. My time and the weather just need to cooperate. LOL

Oh and I'll make that drive to NY right away. :giggle:

You read my mind. *gets on mapquest*

32 hours, 2100 miles. Not bad! Just a tiny bit more than I did for NOPI. Maybe next summer ;). Eric, I really would love to see your coupe in person. And Pat, how about another photo shoot with your car and Dad's car? The red and green combo would make for a great Christmas shot! :D
I know. LOL But having them clean on the same day, and being home before it's too dark during this time of year is kinda hard. LOL Maybe this weekend..hmmmm.
