It depends on where you live I think. My cousin has clear tail lights and he was stopped by the police once. The officer was pretty cool about it and informed my cousin that he needed to get different colored bulbs in the back and then he wouldn't get hassled.

I don't think those look particulary good. I think the whole clear tail light thing has gotten played out, especially by all the altezza wannabes.

Damn the Altezza (IS200) for starting that crazy trend. Personally, I like the Red with White strip on top for the Coupes, I love the Sedan lights the way they are already...

Has anyone seen that pic (I think it was ChrisK's) where the Legend Coupe is riding through a tunnel? The lighting on it, makes the rear lights look sweet, that's how I would attempt to make my lights look if I had a coupe, correction, when I have a coupe

Yeah I've grown out of the clears... The look cool as hell cause thay are diff. on the Legend but I like the amber tails on my Milano Coupe.. It adds some color to the red that is the dominate color of the car... Now on a silver, black, white, ect... the clear/red combo tails would look cool...

i read an update on acuralegends.com that a user on this forum i haven't seen his name around lately tho Sprung71 or 17 or somethin made his own clears like that for anyone that wants them. i read that he took them to a plastic shop, had the lens re-created exactly like stock but clear then reattached them onto the housing and reinstalled them. hope that helps.
