I checked my diagnostics for my ABS in the trunk of my car and it has a red light that just stays on instead of blinking a code. What does that mean?

Is your dash ALB warning light on also ??

the only way to check the code is with engine off/key on.
then you have like 10 seconds to retrive all alb codes.

After 10 sec will it just stay lit red? But I will try that. Thanks!

LED stays ON means multiple component failures "L"... affected both front (left/right) speed sensors as well as the rear speed sensors, other components that might be faulty are the ALB/ABS fuses... most often, these are cause by a fault in a wire or connector common to all the components.

or if he has the engine running it stays on.
or when it's done giving codes it stays on.....or at least mine does and all thats wrong with it is the speed sensor.....
