If you mean by RR=Rear engine rear drive, and FR=Front engine rear drive, than the Legend is neither. It is a FF=Front engine front drive.

The Legend is front wheel drive, but the position of the engine is mounted in a way that usually rear wheel drive cars have, they did this for better weight balance, cornering etc.

RR and FR sound like terms that come out of the Playstation Grand Turismo game

The Legend is a Front Wheel Drive (FWD) car. Naturally it is a 'front engine' car, as are most autos.

However, unlike most FWD cars, the G2 Legend's engine is mounted longitudinally (i.e. North to South) as God and Henry Ford intended. Most FWD cars have the engines mounted transversely.

As a result of the the Legend's engine placement, it has the transmission separate from the transaxle (differential), and the benefit is improved balance and handling.

Regards,
