is it a better idea to get aftermarket oxygen sensors, than to go straight to the factory? (well, it is cheaper)
and if it is better what brand should i go with ngk (and what is O.E.?) like on this site http://imports.racesearch.com/CGI/i...=ACURA&model=Legend&company=ALL&act=Next+--->
or these other brands such as the BOSCH or NTK ?
on this site: http://www.nopionline.com/index.cfm...Title=1990 ACURA Legend Exhaust Oxygen Sensor

tell me which is better in quality and price? from experience...if u can.

It shouldn't really matter what brand you go with.

I think it's more important to avoid the "universal" type of sensor where you have to splice the old connector onto the new sensor. IMO, it's a PITA to have to do this. It could also potentially introduce another failure point in the electrical circuit down the road.

I went with NTK (=NGK) sensors.

RE: O Sensors

I live where wear I'm required to take my cars in for an emmisions test before the DMV will give me new registration.... I couldn't pass last month sooo, I went to a frind of mine thats a mechanic and he told me that I needed to get new Oxygen Sensors. From the factory their like $195 each!!! But I bought NGK ones from Nopi for $45.00 each... And sure enough I passed! I don't know how long the sensors should work, but the factory ones are expected to last 150,000 miles.

I've replaced both of mine (one died, the other as general maintenance) with Bosch sensors. $35-$40 each at Autozone with OEM connection.
