My ABS light is on, abs doesnt work, it has proper fluid.

Mechanic checked the code and said "Its ABS code 1, your main abs unit (under the hood) is bad, thats about $900"

I said ok and went home. If thats the case, then how can i get this stupid light off? I tried pulling all the abs fuses, the light is still one. I looked in the trunk to find the abs module, couldnt find it.

I just want this damn bright light off! help

yea pulling the fuse only turns on the light... go to a junk yard im pretty sure it doesn't cost that much.

The ABS control unit is behind the rear seat back on the passenger side. However, I'm not sure that unplugging it will turn the light off.

i know what it is...

its the abs modulator they go bad all the time... trust me am a mechanic.

Pump motor overrun is what acura calls it. What it really means that you have no pressure being built up when the pump runs. You could try bleeding the accumulator and then reset the sys by pulling the fuses. If the pump then runs and builds up pressure you're ok for a while. If the lite returns you need a pump and accumulator assy.
