On my friends coupe, the ABS light won't shut off. We checked the fuses. The brakes might need to be replaced, but it looks like the have 40% to go. It has the max brake fluid. W e even unplugged & replugged battery and that didn't work either. What can be wrong? Just a sensor? or is it the brake pads? I would like to know before he takes his car to the body shop and get riped off. Thanks.

When my friend reverses, it does make a clicking noise. It might contribute to the problem. Any other comments?

Latin,

I had the "clank" Noise with both my old and new coupe. I did notice when I changed my brake pads and cleaned out the caliper it atopped the noise. Well I wrecked my old coupe so I can't tell you if it came back, but cleaning the calipers did help stop the noise. --=Keith

Not sure if you checked yet, but also make sure the brake fluids are topped off with Honda Fluids (synthetic after market stuff is bad!) and also if you can take your tires off, Check the teeth on the axles and sensor. While your down there it wouldn't be a bad idea to clean them at the same time, it works for a lot of people. --=Keith

"Tap" the computer and read the Code(s). You will know exactly what is wrong.
