5 spd linkage works fine, it's the same as the 6 spd. The only issue you'll have is a non-functional reverse lockout solenoid, unless you get a 6 spd ecu and add the wiring and relay to make it work. It's mildly annoying (not having the lockout) on the 4-5 shift until you get used to it. Shift lever tends to go over too far past fifth sometimes until you get the hang of it.
