adding coolent to reserve

How often do you guys have to add coolent to your resevoir. I add a quart every 1000 miles or so. No over heating, maybe just a small leak or something. I replaced the radiater cap.

I never have to add coolant- But that's b/c i don't have a leak- maybe u should have it checked out- especially since the hot weather is coming.
