Found a broken aft tranny mount last week while doing "routine" maintenance". I decided to try to replace it, DIY after checking the "H manual"... Had to remove the forward part of the exhaust but the whole job took about 2.5 hours... The hardware cooperated and could have made the job a lot harder if it was rusty or buggered up... The car now shifts a lot smoother from drive to reverse/park and also when accelerating... I think the car has a smoother ride now. The down side is the oem rubber part from Acura costs 150 bucks, but my car is a "keeper" and I think it is worth it!!!;)

You must have some awesome routine maintenance going on - cause I haven't routinely noticed (or visualized) a failed rear trans mount ever.

Glad to hear that you were able to do the swap - definitely saved about a buck fifty in labor at the dealer!

Congrats on a successfull swap!
