I want an aftermarket system that is equal to the premium bose system without having to get a subwoofer. I already like the bass that the stock system provides but I'm tired of the cold weather static.

You guys have any recommendation on the speakers and amp? I probably will get a double din navi system.

My budget will probably be around 2K including the headunit itself. I was looking at the MB quartz too. I just want something conservative...nice bass in the inside but people won't hear it outside.

I'll start looking at some 4 channel amps.

If you think the factory bose sounds good then that's great, b/c you won't be too hard to impress

I sure hope so... if you could take pics of your eclipse AVN2454 setup I'd greatly appreciate that. Were you able to set it up so you can still use your steering wheel volume controls? I'll also check into those speakers you listed...what did you use for the 4 tweeters? thanks!
