Hi,

I'm in the process of doing the by-pass inlet pipe repair. I've got the intake off and noticed the air suction pipe where it bolts to the air suction valve is over 50% clogged. The weird part is the blockage almost seems like itls intentional. I don't want to dremel it out unless that's the right thing to do.

Anyone that has removed the intake and air suction pipe, can you tell me if your AS pipe was partially clogged or not? It almost looks like it's by design, but doesn't make any sense. Thanks!

If I remember correctly, mine was the same way. Sort of a half-moon shaped metal section blocking part of the pipe at the PAIR valve connection. Designed that way for some reason, not really sure why.

Strange, but oh well, thats what I wanted to hear. I'm glad I didn't cut it out to the full size of the hole. Thanks!
