I'm doing the same mod soon......i'm looking for the european sound. (i.e: expensive German car) Any suggestions on makes or models because maybe I can dissect one from a salvage yard.

A lot of owners went with Audi horns.

I got Hella's for my Legends.

go for hella's if u'r going for hte european sound. i have a few in my car.

I personally have BMW horns on mine. Nice loud pitch. 10000X better then stock horns

Where did you guys get your horns, Wreckin yard, Auto stores, where? and is it easy to hook them up (any electrical moding) I still haven't done mines yet.

yeah, i need a new horn, it sounds like a little girlie horn(no offense to all the little girlies on this forum) but i need a manly horn.
suggestions on where to get one would be nice

i have pontiac bonneville horns right now (aw c'mon, they were free). ne wayz the sound about the same dB but have a huge sound to them, not really becoming of the legends body style but they'll work for now. i want air horns for that ferrari or lamborghini sound. im about to get the triple air horn thingie from Pepboys. i want a harmonious, beautiful but nocuous sound. with verisimilitude to a trumpet corde.

Has any of you seen "Sopranos". One of the mafia guys there had a horn that sounds like that melody from "Godfather". Pretty funny

Let me know if you find some good ones locally. I know I need to change my "punk" horn soon. Sac-town people can't drive and I have to beep at them all the time. Maybe I should just get a bull horn and tell people they shouldn't be on the road .
