anyone have thouse alarm pagers?? after having a hit and run in my parked car and other worries this would be nice to have like this, does anyone know about them if they work good at all? brands?

I think Koji Honda has a Avital Alarm pager hooked up to his sedan. Heard it works pretty good. I've thought of getting one too...

you might wanna check the legendtuner website to see if he put info about his install on there.

I've got an Avital system too. Pager, window roll-up module, trunk release, and remote start. The pager works pretty good but I don't carry it around or anything. I just keep it by my bedside at night.

I know someone with a Civic who has a pager alarm system... One night his pager went off and he went outside to check out and and found two black guys trying to jack his sh!t! He said someone somewhat racist (get the [email protected]#$ AWAY FROM MY CAR) and got knocked out... Car was still there though!

Anyone know if there is a pager system designed to work easily with Clifford alarm systems? I have an Intelligaurd 8000 with Omnisensor, remote start, doorlocks, motion sensor, and all that, but I really want a pager system! Who ever pays attention when a car alarm goes off any more?

hell, if you getting an alarm pager, might as well make sure you have a gun too...because people don't think about that...what if your alarm does go off and you see a couple of dudes trying to jack your car, and of course they have to be armed with something...and for you to just run downthere with nothing in your hands expecting them to just run away is kind of ridiculous...even calling the cops in some areas is pointless because response time is forever, but if ya got yourself a gun...you can run out there and be prepared for whatever!

because you're right, NOBODY pays any attention to a car alarm going off...it's a daily occurence that tends to be more annoying than making people pay attention to what's going on.

hell, i set off plenty of alarms in garages and on the street just with my exhaust, and nobody pays any attention to the alarm going off.

I don't think a gun is necessary. If some punk kids are still there after the alarm goes off and you show up then they'll likely run off. Although since I only use mine at home I do have a nice Lousiville Slugger leaning by the door for just such an occasion. When it goes down somebody's gonna lose a kneecap. I'll take names later. I just firmly believe that you should never mess with a mans vehicle. That's just cowardly.
