Are Alpine amps good? It's the best **** Circuit City carrys, so I get accomadations for their products. Anything bad about them? I have a whole Alpine setup right now, but when I start blowing major money on their products I just wanna know everyone's view and reviews on their stuff. I get their stuff dirt cheap so I can afford to go crazy, like four Type-R Dual voice coils and three 1500 watt amps for a 1/3 of the MSRP.

I've heard mixed reactions about the Alpine amps. I was in the process of purchasing Alpine amps because I was gonna put together an alpine system so I figured i'll go with an alpine headunit and amps. There is this one guy I usually see with a Nissan Maxima (97) and he's running 2 alpine amps and he's told me that they sound real good and hasn't had any problems with them. But If your running an alpine system it'll definately compliment each other better than anything else.
