The alt just went out, and it fried the positave lead, and the wire going from the alt to the main fuse box.... Getting the alternator is not a problem, it happends... but the wire is $864 !!!!!!!!!

I just stood there for about 5min


well, I guess I will be making something or looking around PepBoys, I dont think I should pay $850 for a wire

that is total BS! dont do it! what kind of wire is it? if its just a wire I cant imsage you can use some good quality wire to substitute...for 850 a wire it better...uh...you know...do more fo rme than just pass electrons

its just a 4 gauge wire with 2 different ends, going from the altenator, to the main fuse box.

I went to Peb Boys, made on for $11.... so Im happy
