tired of looking/paying for stock filter. Got a Fram from www.summitracing.com for $35 , replacement cartridges cost $5.
Used a tubing cutter, and a little Fuel Injection hose.
Bolt spacing is "drumroll please" exactly as stock, so it mounts right to the fire wall. Took about an hour to install.

Yes, it flows fine and is rated to 90 gph, and 200 psi.

Buk: Looks good....

But you for got to mention getting tired of taking off the damn fuel line fittings. It feels like I'm stripping the flare nuts (and busting my knuckles) every time I change the filter.

Did you put some kind of a "buldge" on the existing fuel pipes after you cut off the ends? Or did you just slip (and clamp) the hi-pressure hose over the "bare" ends?

Thanks.

Tried putting a flare in, but its HARD in steel lines, more than my flare tool would do, so I left them straight, and deep/double clamped them. Works fine with no sign of slipping/dripping. (and I drive pretty bumpy and hard)

I hated the factory style fittings also...
