I'm going to look at a 93 6-speed coupe today (probably). It's got 145k miles.

Are there any Legend-specific things I need to be sure and check for? Or just usual used car stuff?

Right off the bat, you should know that if the cooling system has not been maintained, your Legend may strike back with a bad headgasket. A checkup at your local Acura dealer would be a smart move. As with any car, the Legend has common failures. Check the Newbie FAQ link in my signature and nearly any question you could come up with is covered. Good luck with that 6 Speed!

Best thing is to ask the guy and take it to a shop to test.

A lot of new members that have just purchased a Legend are posting lately with BHG symptoms. I think LEgends are getting older and more are getting BHG's and are being dumped on the market.

Ask the tough questions. Have you had ANY cooling system problems?
Tell them you will only buy it if they will guarantee the cooling system for at least a week. Drive it in all conditions before the week is up. Heavy traffic, long distance, ect.....
