it's time to flush the tranny and i don't have a manual with me.
where is the ATF plug located at in the g1 auto trans?

On the tranny. It's a 3/8" square socket bolt around the lowest point of the transmission (sorry I can't give more detail.... its been a while since I've worked on a Legend's auto tranny).

Once you find the drain bolt, be careful what method of flush you use: there is a real danger of dislodging built-up crud and having it block the solenoids, etc. And remember: there is no screen or filter to clean or change, unless you tear the tranny apart to get at the internal filter.

Its located on the left side (drivers side) maybe like 12inches from the wheel. I put the rachet on the bolt and used my leg to break it loose..
