Anyone else in WA shopping for a G2 right now?

Have you noticed that the market for these cars is very thin? I am looking for a 93-95 LS or GS auto sedan w/ under 110k and have found nothing! Everything i've looked at has either been in bad shape or some sort of serious accident! Has anyone in Western Washington found one that's worth a look?

G
Go Check Acura of Bellevue, they seem to have at least one G2 Legend at all times. I know what you mean though.... there are hardly any Legends here in Western Wa. Especially Coupes, and good luck find a 6spd, at Acura of Bellevue, they have only had one come back to them that came off the showroom floor and I check auto trader constantly and never see them in there.

Just to let you know the GS sedan came only in 94 and 95.

I know what you mean. Until I found my Legend I had seen some in really bad shape. I even saw one coupe with a scrapped rear bumper, bent antenna, and a stero system that was broken and would never turn off!

Good Luck on your hunt!

PS: I check out autotrader.com every now and then and I remember a white GS-private owner-looked ok in the picture.
Just to help you out a bit...

Gold LS Sedan

This one is only an L sedan, but my Dad bought his Legend Coupe at Lexus of Tacoma and they really seem to take care of their previously owned cars.

L Sedan
I am too, there is a 94 l coupe in oregon w/ 50k miles that's going for like $11,900. Might look into it. What's the diff between l and ls??

Climate Control
Sound System
Power Passanger Seat

That's what comes to mind at first.

Look around on this forum-this question has been asked and answered many times.
I bought mine through the classifides, I had to search for 3 months to find the exact one I wanted which was a black on black 91 LS 5 speed. Your best bet is the classifides or autotrader. Their is a GS sedan in the paper right now.

:werd: Think the G2 market is dry, try looking for a clean G1. I'm tryin' to score a 90 LS 5 Speed Sedan and I will only buy Maroon w/any color interior or White w/Burgundy interior. Everyone please keep your eyes open for me. If you see clean 89 - 90 L or LS Sedan 5 Speed in any color hit me. I'll take a look at it for my son . I promised him a car and since I'm the one spending the cash he gets what he gets, color be diz'amned!!!

Yeah, that is up there, but that is because it is a 95 with only 59,000 miles on it. The price is that high also because it is a Lexus dealer. Sometimes you have to pay a little more to get what you really want.
17.5?? Ouch. 59,000 miles isn't THAT low. Not 5grand extra, low. I MIGHT spend that much if it were a GS with 6speed and maybe 15k-20k less miles and the right color. But for a WHITE L, those are a dime a dozen, and lowest of low as far as options. Wonder if anyone will actually pay that price...sorry just ventin,
still lookin for that right legend

also is there a site or something that tells you the year to year changes and different model changes between the legends?? Also specifics like weight between years and coupes/legends, in depth stuff like that..

Info

Check That out-some good stuff.

Also with the expensive L sedan-I don't think anyone will actually pay that-thats just a starting point.:giggle:

Been there before. There's some good info on the site (none for the G1 owners) but his last update was July 17, 2001. Wa'sup wit dat? Anyone know where I can get detailed info on G1s? The G1 Legend site lacks details as to choices of colors/interiors/options. That's the information I'm looking for.

I guess i am making my search a bit more difficult because I am looking for only certain colors. Black w/ black leather is number one on my list. Vineyard gray and canterbury green would be my second choices. I really would like the LS, but it's amazing how many more L's there are than LS's.

Canterbury green...uh oh, better park my GS canterbury green in the garage from now one, you could live next door to me for all I know!

I found my GS at the Acura dealership in Boise, ID about 4 months ago. I flew over, test drove it, and drove it home. Finding one in this area is very difficult. I found mine by checking every Acura dealership on the web (use the acura.com site to find them) in WA, OR, ID, and CA. The one in Boise was the only dealership that had a decent legend. Out of probably 20 dealerships, I think I found 3 Legends. www.cars.com is also a good search engine when looking for a used car.

Of course, 2 weeks after I got my GS, Acura of Bellevue had a GS 6-speed (white :( ), but it was too late for me. Not sure if I would have gone for it though, white was pretty far down my list.

In any case, keep up the effort. The Legend is worth the wait, and the price, no matter what it is. My 70K GS set me back 17K, but it was just too perfect and clean to pass up...plus, it was from a Acura dealership which didn't help the price much.

Good luck!

BTW, when are we having a Washington get-together?
