anyone have a trunk spring install tool??

referring to the OEM spring or aftermaret spring you can install?

its the oem trunk spring

when I installed the trunk shocks I just took a long hammer and pryed those springs out by using the medal frame of the trunk. I ended up getting cut but it was fast.

do u guys understand what im asking for ??? i need the tool used to install the stock springs not shocks i did that shock mod and im trying to get rid of it and reinstall my stock springs.

ps that shock mod was the worst mod ive ever done

im gonna bump this one up, i also did the shock trunk lid mod and im not happy with it, the gapping on it is just and eyesore to me. anyone willing to lend me the tool to put them back in??

Sorry, I'm confused, what was wrong with the mod? I was planning on doing it when I finally get her running again...

just go buy one from acura or honda. it only cost like $10. do u have any pics of the shocks that you installed on your trunk? if you do can u post them? thanks

by the time you pay shipping both ways it will cost more than the amount of the tool

someone want to sell me theirs, i went to the local dealership "acura of omaha" and gave them the part number and what it was and they kept tellin me they cant sell me tools. that I would have to go through snap it or some other tool company. called some honda places but they dont carry them either. are they not supposed to sell tools or whats the deal here? i seriously need it to install the springs back on, i hate the trunk mod.

im sure someone on here has one i can borrow, i may as well pay shipping since i cant buy the tool anywhere now..

I'll look into what it would take for you guys to get new ones. I know they changed the design of the tool, it has a longer handle now for more leverage. I'll see what the deal is and what it would cost for you guys who want to order the tool.

Yes, if you want to do it safely.

The part number for the revised tool is 07AAE-SDAA100. It's slightly different than the old one, it has a longer handle with a rubber grip and a slightly different angle to it. Looks like it should work fine though, actually should work a little better with the longer handle for more leverage. Retail price at any dealer should be about $13, if you get one at Acura of Augusta or somewhere like that I'd imagine it would be a couple dollars less. If you guys have any more problems ordering them let me know.
