Whenever I am in constant top speed the ATF pressure in the auto transmission gear pops up the ATF dip stick. It even caused fire outbreak sometimes ago while in motion when bubbling ATF escaped through the dip stick inlet, after popping up the dip stick the fluid splashed on the hot exhaust pipe and caused fire in the engine region. Does anyone know the cause of this fluid pressure in the transmission when in constant high speed? could there be an air outlet in the auto gear that has blocked? And I noticed that whenever i rapidly press the accelerator pedal causing the gear to change from idle point, the check engine comes on- What causes this too? Pls help.

Whoa never heard of some crazy stuff like that. Don't really know, but have you checked your fluid level? Are you overfilling it?

did u check your fluid level? there is a vent for the auto trans. i think its on the right side of the engine. i'll try and check its exact location on my parts legend.
Fluid level is normal, it is not overfilled, I think there is an air outlet that is blocked. Locating the vent on the engine you mentioned might help, but I feel the auto gear box should have a vent too.

The trans does have a vent, he was saying that the vent tube ends near the back of the engine. If you look on top of the trans you should see a rubber hose coming off the top of the trans, maybe 6-8" back. The hose normally attaches to a metal vacuum pipe with an open end, which is bolted to a bracket on the back of the motor. If you can locate the hose and pipe, check and see if they are clogged. Sorry I don't have a pic for you.

Thanks for being explicit. i will try and locate it, but I will so much appreciate it if anyone has a picture to this. I mean a picture showing the location of the trans vent.

Just to rule out the obvious; when the dipstick is inserted into the fill tube, does the rubber sealing plug fit snug? There is also a slot on the plug. Is this positioned correctly?

I'd just suggest to slow down (driving around a constant TOP speed)!! ;)

SOunds to me like there is a vent that is clogged or you are just overfilled. (like everyone else said)

While you are under there digging around, it might just be a good time to get the tranny fluid changed (if you can do it yourself).
