Hey all,
I’m considering getting another Legend but i want it to be a manual and since we get JDM Honda's here we do not get the option of getting it in manual. So i was wondering if the gearbox from a Rover 825 (2.5l) or 827 (2.7l) will fit into a 1990 coupe because I can get my hands on a Rover 825 for next to nothing and I was wondering if its worth getting it if its possible to transplant into the legend because I don’t want to be driving in a Rover any time soon. Ive done a manual to auto conversions before and LHD to RHD so this job should not be a problem.

I believe the gear box is the same but the mounts from the rover are different than the legend. In fact, we have a version of that car in the states, called the Sterling, but i have never heard of a manual here.
