I know that if you have something set, that when you put your keys in to the ignition and turn them it adjusts the steering wheel from being all the way in and out of the way to your setting positon...and vice versa when you take keys out steering wheel retracts. The problem is I have no clue what I have to do to do that???? Sometimes it retracts and goes out like I want it to, but other times like if I have memory seats programmed, it will stay in the programmed position even when I turn car off..

What is the process to have this done automatically every time I turn key or remove it...I just can't seem to figure out how it works.

Thanks.

That sounds wierd. Might be an electrical issue. The only thing I can say is that there is a switch on the left side of the stering wheel with two settings. As long as that switch is in Auto mode, the stering wheel should alway come out to the preset position when the key is placed in the ignition and go back when the key is taken out.
