I am having a problem with my auto tilt on my 95lcpe. The tilt doesnt automatically return to the memory position once the key is inserted in the ignition nor will it work manually. All positions except the down position still work though. Any ideas?

Disconnect your battery for a minute and then reconnect it...I've hear that this works to reset it! I can't verify because I unfortunately have no power feature!!

The disconnect and connect of the negative battery cable does the trick. What a relief! Thanks for the 411.

Just to let you know. My 95 sedan did the same thing for a while. After a while the battery disconnect no longer fixes the problem. I eventually started getting 5 beeps when it failed upon shutting the car off. The dealer told me today I need a new "Tilt Fault Switch". I have posted a thread in here inquiring about one. The dealer wants $260.
