Bars Head Gasket Fix

OK. So. I, like every other legend owner on the face of the earth, have a bad head gasket. I saw a few videos online about this stuff called "Bars Head Gasket Fix" SUPPOSEDLY it's supposed to seal your leaking head gaskets AND fix cracked blocks. Now there is a 17 stop process to this product involving draining your antifreeze, oil etc. I just wanted to know if anyone has had experience with this product before I go doing this. Oh by the way, I KNOW this isn't a perminent fix, but I just need something to keep this damn car from overheating while I take it to work. Thanks guys

no , i wouldnt recommend using that stuff ,
its a temporary fix leading to bigger problems .
The only cure for BHG is either replacing the head gaskets with OEM or Felpro or buy another motor. Anything else is a waste of time and money.
Trust me I know. Let me put it into a better perspective. I work literally 1 mile away. If I so happen to use this stuff would it GET ME BY just for a few weeks until I can pay to get this fixed?
If you live that close, your drive should not be long enough for the car to overheat. Just drive it, keep an eye on the coolant level and temp gauge. Fix it right as soon as you get the money. DONT use that Bars Leak crap.
Take the thermostat out, will buy you some time.
That stuff has waterglass in it (sodium silicate)I've seen straight water glass fix head gaskets and keep them running for a few years but I don't know how it'll work on a legend
Thanks guys I appreciate your inquiries
By the way, what will taking the thermostat out do?

If you are gonna use an additive...USE BLUE DEVIL ONLY! I used bars before and it clogged everywhere! My coolant system had to be super flushed many times to get all of it out. It even clogged up my heater core.

Taking thermostat out allows the additive to flow through the system but what i would do is
1.Buy lisle spill free funnel to make sure the air bubbles come out.
2. Buy blue devil head gasket sealant
3. Buy distilled water from wal mart, 4 gallons to be safe.
4. Buy new OEM thermostat
5. Buy prestone 50/50 or acura type 2 coolant.
Now drain old coolant from bottom of radiator.
Flush the system with the distilled water using the lisle funnel. Burp the system and watch all the crap deposits make its way to the funnel. Now repeat this till that funnel is clean. If your thermostat is new and your coolant is in, start your car and let it warm up so your thermostat warms and opens up. Than after 10 or 20 minutes, pour the blue devil in. Burp it with the lisle funnel. Drive off right away to let the additive circulate. check your coolant level after a day.
