The other day, I noticed that my horn sounded like the road runner on cartoons. Any suggestions about how to fix that??

Simplest thing I can think of is to go to a junk yard and take a horn out of another car.

LoL, I know what you mean, you have this nice car, and when you honk the horn.. it's more like "Meep Meep". Hehe, actually it sounds more like "Please, Move out of the way"... When what you really want to say is MOVE!!!!
simply put your window down and yell out

i rarely use my horn, i usually scream out or something
better yet show the finger...with that nail polish of yours
"Horn broken, watch for finger."

If you want to be really loud, I have three words for you: Hella Air Horns. ;)

Oh, hell yeah!!!
My Solution........

I actually installed a set of 130 DB German Hella Horns from Griots Garage. They a REALLY loud and are not the wimpy Japanese "Meep Meep" sound. I love it when someone cuts me off, I lay on the horn, and it scares the S*** out of them.

Lots of noise from a little car.

My next project is to try to figure out how to retro a set of train horns into my Durango.

Do you suppose I'd get in trouble for blowing out someones back window with my horns when they cut me off???????

LMAO FURBALL!!!!!!

You're gonna shatter all the windows around you, hehehe
maybe you could look into getting maybe a horn or two from those big rigs....they're pretty loud :p
after about a week after getting my car i bought an aaaoooga horn and that thing is sweet - i love to honk at random people
Haha, I would love to install one of those. I park in an alley for work so I usuallly honk the horn before exiting since there is always kids roaming around...lol talk about making them jump!
Hella Horns..

Hella Yeah!
I've always wanted Semi or LOUD horns for my car. Furball, I think you've started me on my next adventure!:cool; Where can I find the ones you have?

LOL! i want one of those...like the ones in teh cartoons back in the day.."aahhoooooooooOoooooogahhh!"
Where are the horns and how do you access them. I was thinking they are behind the front bumper - haven't seen them with the hood open.
The Horns are behind the front bumper, under the bumper turn signals. They can be accessed through the front access panels with the rectangular hole in them (not sure what they are called).

For those who asked me, I got my horns from Griots Garage (http://www.griotsgarage.com/). They are the German Hella Horns. I have put them on ever vehicle I own and love them. They aren't true German Tone, but they are MUCH better than those OEM peices of crap that sound like the road runner is making fun of the Coyotee.
Do those rectangular plugs just pull out to access the horns. Are horns on both sides?
Well, it has been years since I have gotten in there, but as I recall, there are two screws a piece that hold them in.

I think they screw in at the top, with the head of the screw at what woudl be the "underside" of the bumper. Pull the two screws and the 'plug' just comes out. I THINK you can gain access to the horns that way....however like I said, it has been a REALLY long time since I have gone in there to look.

I have a meeting in a few mintues, so I can't go down an look at the car, but if you need me to, I'll do that and give you a more accurate description of how to do it.

yea the aoga horn was like 30 bucks and i have an animal horn i rigged up under my hood that plays ice cream music, has a mic, and well animal noises - its so funny drivin around campus
There's also a horn right behind the ABS master cylinder in my coupe. I don't know if there's one there on the Sedan. I think there's 3 horns. One behind each panel on the bumper cover and the one by the master cylinder.
"I want a horn here, here, and here. You can never find a horn when you're mad. Also, they should all play 'La Cucaracha'."
