I’m going to be replacing my brake lines and replace the fluid with Motul on my G1 soon and I’m looking for some advice.

My concern is the ABS system, does the fluid in the ABS mix with the fluid in regular braking system?
If so, when I pump all the fluid out of the regular system will it pump the fluid out the ABS as well? Or do I have flush the ABS separately?

The reason I’m asking is that I don’t want the Motul fluid mixing with the ABS fluid.

Any advice would be VERY much appreciated, thanks!!!!!!

G1 or G2 Legend?

I don't know if this is true for the G2, but the G1 ALB and service brake hydraulic systems are separate; the two fluids don't mix.

FYI, G2 have two separate system as well. ABS has its own brake fluid while the regular brake system has its own fluid. You can use motul in both though.
