My friend recently blew his amp, and blamed it on the way i wired it... Someone tell me if i screwed up or not.

Basically, its 2 12" Type R Subs (DUal 4 Ohm Voice Coil) connected to an MRV-T757 Amp. I wired the coils on each sub in parallel, creating a 2Ohm load per sub (I think) and then connected each to an output on the amp. THe dude at the audio store said it was putting a 1/2 Ohm load on the system!!!! wtf.... anyways, someone tell me if thats even possible and if i screwed up, cause im afraid for my install... Thanks!

I see you said you wired each sub to an output. So, that leads me to believe you hooked it up right, and in stereo. Since the amp is 2 ohm stable per channel, then you should have been fine. The problem is if you happend to have accidently made a mistake, and wired the subs bridged, than that would be a 1/2 ohm load. 2 ohms per sub, then wired to s single bridged channel would give you 1/2 ohm. But again, it sounds like you wired each 2 ohm sub 1 to thge right channel, and 1 to the left channel in stereo right? If so, I can't see how the amp would be getting a 1/2 ohm load.

Yeah, thats what i did, one per channel, which leads me to believe the wires came out and he put it back the wrong way (his first one was one 12" bridged, so maybe he thought thats just how it went) Oh well...... Hes out $300 i guess......
